The Subaru Cherry Blossom is celebrated to remember the honor given by Japanese government. On the 150th anniversary of American independence, the Japanese government awarded 1,600 cherry trees and other flowering trees to the City of Philadelphia in 1926. It is a spring festival celebrated in March month in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States.
The 42 days event includes origami demonstrations, Japanese movies, ceremonial drumming, martial arts exhibitions, a traditional tea ceremony and a nationally recognized master sushi chef from Japan demonstrates a special sushi-making presentation.
