Pawl Kut is a harvest festival that is celebrated as part of thanksgiving to the Lord for his gratitude of bumper crop.

It is observed in the month of December in Mizoram.

Before the beginning of the festival men go for fishing and hunting. During the festival locals enjoy music, ballet, dance and many other forms of entertainment. Meal of meat and egg is prepared during the event.
