The Modhera Dance Festival is celebrated with an idea to present classical dance form in the area of Gujarat. The festival also basically known as Uttarardh Mahotsavor Modhera Utsav is the grand celebration of culture, art, music and dance.

It is held in the month of January at the Modhera Sun Temple in Mehsana district of Gujarat. The festival lasts three days and is hosted by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat at Sun Temple of Modhera. The temple is devoted to Lord Surya who is the god of Sun.

The traditional classical dance forms and styles are presented by dancers where visitors get a chance to see the varieties of dances of ancient and contemporary India.
