The Cherry Creek Festival is an art festival that began in1991. The Arts Festival concept was presented to Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors by the first President and Executive Director of the Arts Festival, Bill Charney. The leaders of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce decided in a meeting that Charney would take the help of a group of volunteers for any assistance and $1500 was committed as seed money. The festival is organized in the first weekend of July and occasionally on Fourth of July weekend. It takes place in Denver, Colorado in the United States.
Terry Adams is the recent Festival Executive Director. It’s a world class event where 200 of the nation’s top artists present seven stage performances presenting a broad range of entertainment. The CCAF gives special opportunity to sample fine cuisine, visit special exhibits and artist demonstrations, to meet and talk with international visual artists and entertain the family with exciting performing arts The festival is dependent completely upon donations, sponsorships and grants.
