Guru Ramdas Ji Jayanti marks the birthday of the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ramdas Ji. Bhai Jetha was his original name. He was born on 24th September 1534 in the city of Lahore in Pakistan.
A day before his birthday several processions called as Nagar Kirtans are taken out by Sikhs in several places of Punjab. On the day of his birthday people visit Gurdwaras to pay obeisance.
