The Celtic Classic Festival was started on Columbus Day weekend in 1988 to promote and conserve the Celtic cultures and traditions through musical presentations, education and traditional competitions in dance, piping and athletics. It takes place in the month of September of the fall season in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the United States.
Visitors can also watch Highland athletes who come from the whole world to contest in traditional sporting events such as the caber toss and Braemar stone throw.
