The Amish Acres Festival is an art and craft festival that provides opportunities to various artists and crafters to showcase and sell their handicrafts. In 1962, the festival commenced as part of a sidewalk days celebration in the city Nappanee at Pletcher Furniture Village. But soon it grew into a mega event for artists to sell their commodities. It is held in the 1st weekend in August from Thursday through Sunday in Nappanee, Indiana in the United States.
The talented artists and craftsmen are encouraged to exhibit and sell their wares around the pond at Amish Acres. The festival is ranked as the 7th Best Classic and Modern Craft Show in the United States. The festival includes food, puppet shows, local fare, four stages of live entertainment, and rides of wagon.
